Megan Detrie is a journalist and photographer based in Cairo, who has been covering the Middle East and North Africa since 2006. She has reported extensively from the United Arab Emirates and Egypt for The National in Abu Dhabi, as well as from Jordan, Lebanon and Ethiopia.
